Not in all Qld, just mainly the Gold Coast Brisbane areas where the bikies were. . Last time I was there you wouldn't get served if you had visible tatts. Up in FNQ they don't give a shit. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Like a kid caught red handed after doing something wrong, first thing they say is "I didn't do it".
It's possible, maybe even probable that it's just an accident, but whether Israel was involved or not, the only guarantee is that they'll say they weren't. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

To be honest the possibility didn’t even cross my mind – Netanyahu and co. are crazy, yes, but are they really that crazy? I guess it’s not out of the question, but accidents do happen. Harold Holt probably wasn’t abducted by a Chinese submarine either. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Why would Israel risk anything going after the President. The role is equivalent to a pet dog. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Not sure I'd go that far but yes, the Ayatollah is where the real locus of power rests.

Quote: | Israel has not formally commented on the deaths of Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi and foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, but unnamed officials have stressed to news outlets that the country was not involved.
Israel’s spy agency, the Mossad, has been blamed for several assassinations and bombings inside Iran in recent years, and its air force has bombed Iranian assets in Lebanon and Syria, but the country rarely comments on such activity.
Israel’s analysis so far appears to be that the unexpected demise of the two top regime figures is unlikely to significantly alter its long-running cold war with Tehran: the Islamic Republic’s foreign, defence and nuclear policies are ultimately the purview of supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Internal power struggles created by the sudden vacuum, however, could draw Tehran’s attention away from the war in Gaza. Iran-allied groups in Syria, Iraq and Yemen have all attacked Israel with drones or rockets since the war broke out last year, and a war of attrition with the powerful Tehran-backed Lebanese militia Hezbollah is simmering on Israel’s northern border.
“This is not bad news for Israel. However, events in Iran will probably move at a different pace than those around us. Under a positive scenario, initially, the government in Tehran may be more concerned with internal matters and will put less pressure on Hezbollah to maintain an active military front against the Israel Defense Forces,” Amos Harel, a military analyst, wrote in leftwing daily Haaretz. |

The ICC issues 5 arrest warrants. About as effective as warrants issued by the International Cricket Council _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

^ Yes, but it's something. If the warrants are issued (to clarify, the warrants are currently being sought by the chief prosecutor, and it will take months for a ruling to be made either way), Netanyahu and Gallant – as well as the leaders of Hamas; this is no partisan ruling – face the possibility of arrest in 124 countries.
And as a reminder of how power and justice work in the world, the US government are talking about sanctioning the ICC, simply for looking at this conflict objectively and trying to apply international law. Even having a faint possibility of facing justice for wantonly murdering thousands of people – imagine that. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |
