Wondering overnight whether we should now consider replacing Reid with Moore up forward? Would be quicker to the contest than Ben. Also our backline seems to be settling well at the moment. Your thoughts? |

Reid is 29 years old this week. He has kicked 6 goals in 5 matches sofar in 2018.
Hard to say whether he should be replaced by Moore.
The question is whether there is a current spot anywhere on the field for Moore.
Personally I would play Moore on the wing. |

Wing would certainly be an option. I noted yesterday that there were some contests that Reidy did not fully commit to, nor had the pace to contest, hence my query. |

I’m not against Moore going forward at the expense of Reid but the club have invested an entire preseason in both of them playing different roles.
While we are winning, I don’t see those positions changing back again anytime soon. |

Reid unfortunately struggles to:
* jump
* bend over
* provide second efforts
* kick accurately
Father Time is at 11:57pm and don’t be surprised to see him squeezed like some others with our increasing depth. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Both.
Moore is needed in defence, so Reid stays up forward. _________________ Well done boys! |

I'd prefer Moore to Reid up forward, but it seems Bucks wants Moore in defence - possibly in preparation for Lynch playing forward for us next year. |

This week at least, with a 4 day break, Reid should be rested Moore if he is available. |

It's the best position for the team.
I think McClarty moving forward makes it less likely we are confident of signing Lynch. Whether we sign Lynch or not, we are still looking for a second tall defender into the future. I had thought that was McClarty until he was moved. _________________ Well done boys! |

So everyone's just assuming that Cox is in the team for good? Moore plays a similar role as the key forward / backup ruck and I think he does it significantly better, yesterday aside.
Moore can also play in defence, where I think he'll be a gun. In fact, I think that's his best role. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Forget Lynch, ain't gonna happen.
Reid up forward provides a contest, Moore down back protects him from being double teamed and gives him an opportunity to develop without being physically smashed. Once reid is done, Moore comes back forward. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
