We should get a couple of players back for the Essendon game which puts us in a good position to win that game, which would make us 3-2. That's as far ahead as I'm prepared to look at after I said after the first two games when we were 0-2 that we wouldn't make the final eight. |
On the back of last night's game, I think we will go in with an unchanged side for Anzac Day.
With a 4 day break after that, think that would be the time to manage the players work load and rest a few. |

I would think that's exactly what will happen, giving the blokes coming back from injury that extra break.
Richmond play the night before us and the player management by both sides will be very interesting.... could there be 5 or 6 changes? Maybe. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

this is a funny thread to watch how it evolved from "Brisbane is the only team we can beat in the next 8 weeks" to "stuff it, let's beat the reigning premiers and be 4-2!" _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

^ Those two opinions were not stated by the same person, so that's not an evolution. (Well, to be precise, the first opinion was not actually stated by anyone, but never mind.) |

One week at a time for sure... but have you looked at our draw beyond tomorrow? Sh1t it makes for nice reading. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

^ You mean we have a tri-series with Carlton & Brissy for the rest of the season? |

The games prior to this one were potential season kickstarters. Having won them, we have now kickstarted our season but we haven't yet defined it.
A win tomorrow really would be season defining. It would define us as very likely finalists. The chances of winning are low, but win it and I would confidently say we'll play finals this year. _________________ Well done boys! |

^ Well, I'm not familiar with what margins the betting agencies usually predict, or whether they change throughout the week, but the 2-goal loss they predict seems a small (and therefore surmountable) margin to me. |
