We probably aren’t going to get the Crows at a worse time given their first choice mid field injuries but can’t help but think this match shapes our entire season from a momentum point of view.

Win, and we are 2 & 2 with a 12 day break and a middling Bombers to face on Anzac Day. With only 3 players left in rehab, we would probably go in as favourites. Even a subsequent loss to the Tigers, a season potentially poised at 3 & 3 with an injury depleted Cats (our bunnies) follows.

Am I getting ahead of myself? ABSOLUTELY 😁

R 1. Loss
R 2. Loss
R 3 Win
R 4 Loss

R 5 ,6 & 7. Win Win Win.

We could get to 3 and 3 - but we probably won’t.

Big test. Our biggest issue over the past few years has been consistency. We're only making finals if we can stop losing to bottom 10 teams and stop the honourable losses to the top 8 teams.

It starts this week with Adelaide. Time for this club to show something more than it has over the past 3-4 years.

Let's beat the Cows and then the Bummers!

Beat the sides 12 and down at every match to build up our wins and then have a crack at top mobs

Playing say two down the ladder sides and say a 9 or an 8 on ladder over a month gets winning culture into group

We'll probably be missing Elliott, Moore, Fasolo, Greenwood, Goldsack, Adams and Wells from our best 22.

That's a third of our team.

If we win on Friday night, it will be one of our greatest performances. Pies by 14 points! Cool

I'm with you Rudeboy, Pies by at least 14 points and this in my view is THE season defining match! Win and the boys confidence will skyrocket!

The players are going to need all of next week to recover from the battering their bodies got from the Adelaide game. We should get a couple of players back for the Essendon game which puts us in a good position to win that game, which would make us 3-2. That's as far ahead as I'm prepared to look at after I said after the first two games when we were 0-2 that we wouldn't make the final eight.
