^ Yes, I don't get the negativity. He replaced my favourite player but I still understand what they want him to do and can see he's working his way into that. I think he was a bit frustrated at times last night - he might need a bit more team support from the gang during the week: it must be genuinely hard to manage the pressure of being recruited to improve a premiership team.
Also, I'll say it again - he wasn't recruited as a star goal-kicker. That's never been his thing. He was brought in to play a particular role the football department obviously thought we lacked. This is the best coaching team that I have seen at the Club since I first started watching them. They know it's the result - not the individual performances - that count and, given their obvious brilliance in turning a side that the previous coach couldn't get to win much into a premiership team (and the best team to watch in the competition) in just 2 seasons, I'm content to go with them on this. |

Lots of undisciplined acts with and without the ball. |

I also don't get the hate for this guy.
He contributes more pressure acts in a game than Ginni did his whole Collingwood career. |

He made some errors but alas so did others. I keep saying the expectations of him have been way too high. Everyone wants mega goals and it just won't happen with our game plan as we spread/share the load. |
Nah, just want to see him do more given the high cost of the trade _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

That'll happen in maybe 3 weeks time as he'll likely be suspended for punching Acres in the back of the head.
Sadly, there is no discount for punching a Carlton player. There should be, but there isn't. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Punching a Carlton play should be an automatic Order of Australia. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Absolutely 💯 Give the guy a medal. He’s a tough hombre who quite often does the one pacenters and frankly these efforts are not noticed by some Nicksters. As the season progresses, he will be an awesome asset for us. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. Shame he lost the plot a bit late in the game, the enforced holiday will disrupt the little bit of form that he was working into. Lays important tackles, is useful up the ground, and contributes even when he's obviously out of form. Feel like he'll be our modern day Medhurst when it all clicks. |

Bad kick across the ground wasn't good, but in fairness some fluffed disposals from most other too on the night.
In the heat of the game we are mostly riding clangers and heroic acts, but watching the replay other nuances come to light. Schultz's pressure all game was more than good, excellent, actually.
As far as the week suspension,, thats crap. A free was paid, and maybe a fine should have been enough, if that.
See ya at the Tribunal. |

right infront of the umpire with a strike that he had to stride/lean into to make contact in the back of the head... lol no chance of getting off this.
IMO take the week hit and put harrison forward.
bring in carmichael for MCreery's concussion |
